Czech people, along with people from Poland and Slovakia, are considered Western Slavs.
They separated from the Slavic peoples of the Ukraine and Russia to the east. There are
Western Slavs in parts of Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. It is often hard to distinguish folk
musics of these groups without a lot of practice.
